Top Dog Training and Resort

Our 10 month old lab/pit mix completed the 3 week board and train and it worked wonders for him! Before training leash walks were a nightmare and he chewed up just about everything he wasn’t supposed to. When we first got home I have to admit there was a learning curve for all members of the family in being consistent in continuing training properly. I am so proud to say that it’s been a month since being home and we have had multiple neighbors stop us on our walks and ask how he became so well behaved! Truly a night and day transformation for our neighborhood walks. What was once completely stress inducing has become pleasant and enjoyable. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Top Dog! We left our dog lady here for a ten day stay while we got married and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during that time frame. Most places would have been annoyed by the amount of times I checked in but no one made us feel like they were too busy to reassure and provide us with extra photos. I would recommend them to anyone! Top dog thank you again!

My dog loves going to Top Dog! He needs to go out by himself and the trainers give him the one on one time. I love that I can see pictures on Facebook each time he is there to see how much fun he is having! Great customer service and the trainers are very caring! My dog gets so excited when he knows we are getting close to the resort. Thank you to everyone there who cares for my dog!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Top Dog completely failed in their duty of care for my dogs during their stay from December 19 to December 26, 2024. This experience was nothing short of traumatic for both my pets and me. First, I discovered through Top Dog’s Facebook page—FOUR DAYS after the fact—that my dog had a huge gash on her forehead. This injury reportedly happened the first night, December 19, but no one informed me. Seeing my dog’s injury online without any prior notice was heartbreaking and enraging. When I called to ask, I was told it was due to an altercation between my dogs. Second, I had specifically asked if my dogs could be boarded separately because my younger dog suffers from high anxiety around other dogs. I was told this wasn’t an option because of

I.. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE Top Dog!!! They take such great care of my Topiee and every staff member treats her and praises her as if she was their own puppy. Ive been boarding and taking topiee to day school since topiee was about 4/5 months, maybe less, and she has been loved ever since! Top dog was such a blessing to find. They are super understanding and flexible. just all around an amazing place. And i love the pictures. I mean does her face look like an unhappy pupper?
