Great charity for abandoned and abused large and wild cats. Nice that you can go and tour the facility. CEO & administrators definitly are under paid compared to what other highly TV publicized charities' CEOs make, so Tiger Haven really spends donations to save, care for & transport these displaced animals. So if you love lions, tigers and other cats, this is a worthy charity. Getting a doner tour is something special.

I have been "adopting" from Tiger Haven for many many years. They do great work in saving tigers, lions and other great cats. Please help them in thier work to making these majestic animals safe and happy for the rest of thier lives.

Tiger Haven does a difficult and risky job: rescuing and caring for big cats. These animals are very beautiful but also very dangerous to work with. At Tiger Haven these cats have a safe and comfortable home to live out the remainder of their lives. Please be aware that radical "animal rights" activists are posting phony reviews of Tiger Haven, claiming that their cats are housed in small cages; these allegations are utterly false. One review states that Charity Navigator rates Tiger Haven "one star;" the current charity navigator rating is "three stars" (out of a possible four stars). The person handling the incoming calls needs to be more polite and courteous. She was short and quite rude when asked for operating hours. I feel sorry for not only her co-workers but also the animals if she has any contact with them. You are very rude and need to learn proper phone etiquette!!! One star is being generous for the manner my question was handled.
