Thompson Veterinary Clinic

We took our lab to Thompson Vet Clinic (3 1/2 hrs. from home) just to see Dr. Hoholik for chiropractic care, as he had a pinched nerve in his back and difficulty using his right leg. It was a stormy day and she had just come from farm calls but Dr. H spent so much time with Bubba and did x-rays, an adjustment of his back, laser, and an Adequan injection. All of what was done was explained thoroughly by the Dr. and everyone there was professional, but kind and friendly. We are very pleased with everything that was done for him. Thank you, Mary and Lonny Naasko and of course, Bubba.

We had an emergency and if you need help, and aren't from this area, I will say they were awesome. Calm, caring and did a great job helping our big dog when he needed it. They showed him great care and he's on his way to healing now. So thankful they had after hour emergency services because we all know our pets never get sick 9 to 5. The place is clean and very welcoming. They have quite a few doctors on staff. I like they have a texting feature. It made communicating after surgery easier although it's only during office hours that they will receive the texts.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Thompson team. We were staying at our summer cabin north of Manistique when our dog was unfortunately viciously attacked by another dog. We were stricken seeing his leg injuries and knew we needed to take him to be seen but our regular vet is 6+ hours away. The Thompson team was so great. They got him in right away the next day and took such wonderful care of our Laszlo. He’s home resting now and our experience with Thompson was the lone bright spot in an otherwise horrible 24 hours. As awful as it was I’m glad we were able to connect with Thompson and establish care so if anything else comes up when we are back north he has a wonderful vet nearby.
