Third Coast Canine Academy

Lauren is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about her work with dogs. We worked with Lauren in the past as she supported us tremendously with our Blue Heeler that had behavioral problems. We just recently got an Australian Shepherd puppy and took him to meet with Lauren and are really excited to continue to meet with her for Basic Obedience as he grows up. Lauren’s style of training is supportive and engaging and we’ve learned so much from her! I would recommend anyone with a dog to see Lauren at Third Coast Canine Academy!

We just completed the 6 session basic obedience class with our 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. Lauren did an excellent job of properly training and reinforcing basic obedience skills with us. Dogs are much quicker to learn the skills than we are as owners and Lauren was patient with us in teaching us the correct way. We have seen great improvement in our dog’s obedience skills as she walks calmly on her lease, sits and stays on command, knows what “no” means, and coming on command. We know that the 6 weeks of training is just the start of what needs to be regular consistent reinforcement of the skills we all learned. Lauren has made my dog my best friend! Before going to Third Coast Canine Academy I did not enjoy walks or taking my dog out. She helped us enjoy being together. I can take a walk with my dog -not my dog walking me. Whenever we go back he is so excited to see her. This place hands down is fantastic. I could not be more pleased

Third Coast Canine Academy and Lauren are absolutely the best. But first I must apologize, I really thought I left a review with our first dog, Carmel Comet Cupcake, but I do not see it and I am sure that I messed it up….. Sorry about that Lauren. I only gave five stars because I couldn’t give ten!!!! Maya Zamaya is our second Siberian Husky that we have taken to Lauren. Yes, Second. Siberian. Husky. We had great success with Comet right out of the box. Maya is taking more work, because she is ‘more husky’ than Comet is, or maybe it is just us being spoiled by Comet, but she is off-lead trained (too) and doing amazing when she is the only doggie on the walk. And getting better when both dogs are on the walk too. We couldn’t ask for better results and we know that we need to keep up
