The Yuppie Puppy

Brought my husky in and complete shaved the dog when you’re not supposed to. The only rule for being a groomer your knowledge about the breeds of dog when you groom them. The most common rule is to never shave a husky and they shaved him. They were too lazy to put work in because they just wanted quick money. They don’t care about your dogs. They called me asking to shave the matted parts down and he came home a whole different dog and he also have cuts all over him. Dont bring your dogs to this place.

Another homerun at Yuppy Puppy. Two weeks ago, I took four dogs for grooming. Today, I took our goldendoodle who is an 80# baby. Looks great and he loved the groomer. Also, took in Chicken Nugget who we think is part chihuahua but looks like a minpin. Feisty and they were SUPER with him. I really recommend you give these guys a try. You will not be disappointed. Miss Alana at front desk is wonderful.

Beware of this business. They did NOT provide the grooming that we requested. We told them NOT to cut her down to the skin they did it anyway. We told them to not cut the tail. They decided not to groom the tail at all. Left her with mats. Cut too much hair off the top in addition to cutting it unevenly. To make matters worse they cut literally cut both ears. Yes there are sores in her ears. Along with skin irritation on her belly from the clippers. This is the second time this has happened. First time, I said maybe just a bad day. Second and very last visit for us. My neighbor just told me she had the same experience and no longer uses them.

Today was my first time taking my yorkie she is 4 months . Just the experience of walking in the door . The lady greeted me so kindly. This is also the first time I have a dog with hair . She so was nice . She asked me about cutting Bella’s hair . I then told her I really didn’t know how I wanted it cut . I actually told her that I didn’t know what I was doing since this was my first time taking my Bella for a hair cut . She then showed me a picture of a dog that had the hair cut and asked me if I would like it like that . I love the hair cut on that picture I said yes . I dropped her off at 8 am and around 10 I had called and no one answered but they did send me a text apologizing that they missed my call . I wrote back and said I was just wondering about Bella since I had an appt at 11.

My dog died here today of heat stroke. Arrived at 9am by 12:38 he was dead! I walked In, paid proceeded to the door to the right, opened it, my dog is on the floor with an attendant unresponsive. No one could tell me how long he’d been like that. That’s when I noticed curtains over the dog cages. While myself is on the filthy floor doing CPR, I was told to take him elsewhere!! Elsewhere I did. I already knew the outcome,.He was pronounced by Saves Animal Hospital. (Thank God for them) I’d never seen the back of the facility. But I did notice new people working there. They kindly texted me condolences and refunded me $57. A slap in the face for a prize dog! THIS ISNT THE END. Please be aware of these unqualified places. No one knew CPR and it’s obvious no one checks on the animals . B
