The Veterinarians at Court Square

So I have been coming to this vets for years and honestly was considering switching vets due to location until my last visit. Dr. Gugulski (sp?) is one of the nicest, most compassionate vets I have seen in years of owning dogs in NYC. My dog is very afraid of the vet and she was patient with him and kind. Sometimes going to the vet can be a thing both you and your dog can dread, but she made the experience super positive and comfortable for the both of us. I truly appreciate seeing a vet that genuinely loves and cares about the animals she is treating. Thank you 🙏🏻.

The Veterinarians at Court Square have a lot of positives—That said, there are some real drawbacks. Pros: they have everything on site, most of the vets are very nice, and the staff are generally kind and helpful. When I had to put my dog to sleep in 2023, the care and compassion I received meant a lot, and I’ll always be grateful for that. Cons: It’s more expensive than most veterinarians, and you never know which vet you’ll end up seeing—so the advice and approach can vary a lot from visit to visit. Recently, it’s also become very difficult to get an appointment. They even canceled a weekend appointment I had scheduled, and when I tried to rebook, the next opening was three weeks away. I have dogs / cats for the last 15 years. Through out all this time I have taken my dogs/cats to a lot of different places. I have never ever felt so comfortable been at a vet's office. The Vet, nurse and assistant were extremely knowledgeable and amazing with my dog they are very professional. They were able to help me understand the issue my dog had. they offered my dog a treat once they walked into the room then they took a picture of him for his chart after sometime the doctor came and she was extremely gentle but you can tell she was working extremely careful and focused on the aim target. The other vet I took my dog asked me to take him to another vet to have him checked which I did and boy I am glad I did! will bring my puppy here from now on.

We recently moved to the area with our dog and 17year old cat, Mina. We had been going to a vet in Park Slope for years and had no intention of changing, but Mina wasn’t doing well and we decided it was time to say goodbye. Our vet was closed for the Thanksgiving weekend so we called here hoping they could help. They took us in the same day. Every single person was so gracious, from letting me use all their tissues to offering a more private room for us to cry and say goodbye. We put Mina to sleep that day and a week later we received a card in the mail with everyone in the office signing. I wish we met under different circumstances, but they were incredibly warm, patient, and welcoming. To the staff - thank you for your kindness on a truly awful day. They treated my dog of 15 1/2 yrs with nothing but respect and sympathy, during the hardest decision I’ve had to make they made sure he was as comfortable as possible i couldn’t have picked a better place to say goodbye to my friend. Amazing thank you for everything
