The Salty Dog

We have brought our dog here a few times now and they do a lovely job. The young woman who groomed her was very attentive and skilled. She cares so much about the dogs and is very empathetic. Our dog is elderly, has a double coat and bad arthritis so she is a very difficult dog to groom. They do an excellent job every time, very impressed.

We love the Salty Dog and wouldn't think of going anywhere else! I was nervous about dropping my puppy off somewhere for the first time and I instantly felt better once I walked through the door. The owner is great and always makes my pup look great and you can't beat the prices! Mac gives 5 stars easily :)

When I first moved to Camden, it was in the middle of Covid I stopped at The Salty Dog and couldn’t even talk to anyone. I was handed a business card and told to call. Fast forward to a couple of months ago - I posted on Facebook looking for a groomer for my elderly dog. Not only did Salty Dog get raving reviews but the owner also responded on my post. I took Maggie shortly after to get her bath and brush. Maggie was done in less than an hour, she looked great and wasn’t stressed at all. It was exactly what I was looking for. They also did a great job on her nails! And the price was very reasonable. Thank you Salty Dog for taking good care of Maggie. We are a local Maine family with much of our free time spent on the lakes, ocean and exploring the outdoors. While we try our best to groom our pup regularly we needed some extra help to stay on top of our border collie's double coat and dreadlocks. Salty Dog did a great job sprucing him right up while making him feel at ease. We will be going back for sure!
