The Principled Pet

The absolute best pet store in the area. Gloria has a wealth of knowledge and has helped me with figuring out what is best for my pup in terms of food, care, and training. I develop organic food and beauty products (for people) - and am equally particular about my dog's food. From my conversations with Gloria, I know that a lot of attention and care (from a scientific perspective) go into her product selection, specifically with regards to the ingredients. I am very grateful that this place is in the area.

One word sums up this store, integrity. The owner, Gloria, operates her shop with integrity and will not compromise for your dog or cat. Gloria is a former Penn trained vet and refuses to carry anything on her shelves that she hasn’t thoroughly vetted herself. This gives me peace of mind in a time where the list of pet food recalls a mile long.

This is my dog, Winnie's, favorite place in the world amd he always gets love and treats when we stop in. We bought a harness and they were nice enough to measure and fit him for it in the store. They only carry high quality treats and toys and clearly care about all of their clients.

This place and its people are so wonderful! Have been coming here with our dog Henrietta for about five years. Henrietta is welcome to come in and browse. The folks here know her, and offer good advice about her care and feeding. Recommended without reservation.

Stopped in on a whim after being in the area. They have a great selection of toys, some of which help a great cause. I bought the WO toy that helps feed widows and orphans. And of course Shelby loved the toy!
