The K9 Training Academy

We’ve had our 5 month old, unaltered male, Golden Retriever puppy back from obedience training for a few weeks now and he has been a dream! They had our pup for a little over a month and were very helpful and communicative the entire time they had him. I love that they shared updates on his progress on their social media and have been answering all of our questions since we picked him up. Every time we go out with our pup he get so many compliments on his behavior. Even his vet was impressed with his behavior on our last visit. We are so thankful for Rick and everyone at the K9 Training academy for all of their hard work and dedication to our fur baby! We will be sending any future doggos to them for training as well.

I took my 4 year old adult Dogo Argentino to the k9 training academy after going through multiple trainers who told me my dogs aggression could not be fixed and would have to be put down. We had a baby on the way and this could no be the case. I found Rick and he told me no dog is untrainable it just takes time and proper training and socialization. Our Dogo past away a few weeks ago and the only thing I regret is not finding the K9 training academy sooner. Rick succeeded when others failed, made an angel out of the devil dog we had and gave us an Amazing 6 years with our beloved Bentley. I give the K9 training academy A+++++++ and will never have another dog without being trained by them. Thanks Rick!

Im going to begin with I sent 3 dogs to k9 training academy for the advanced obedience program. All 3 were untrained, and out of control. I have 2 German shepherds, and a Siberian Husky. To begin with yes, they do trim down the hair. Considering my dogs are long haired I didn’t expect anything differently. It was obviously done with care and attention, and it was NOT shaved. 👍 Communication was great!!! It is hard being away from your dogs for 30 days, and not getting constant updates, but it’s the only way it works. If you cannot allow this process to work then do not send your dog to board and train. 🤷🏻‍♀️ All calls and texts were responded to in a timely matter. I never felt annoying (I know I am 🤣), and I was thoroughly updated as we went along. I love that I did not pay in full unt

Absolutely amazing. We (my wife and I) had a dog who we never trained and it was very difficult to deal with. Since his passing =( we always vowed that when we get our next dog, we MUST get them (and us) trained. We couldn’t go through a non trained dog again. So when we got our amazing new add on to the family, all we heard was how great The K9 Training Academy was. And boy were they completely RIGHT! WallE was only 12 weeks when he was sent for basic training. (Honestly, I was scared and worried that he might be too young, but I figured they knew what they were doing). Grateful for Rick and to have found The K9 Training Academy. I took my Dog Ace to Rick when I was in the process of moving. Rick was extremely accommodating through the whole process. My pup went from living in a house with a big backyard where he would run and do whatever he wanted to an apartment where he could not do the same. If it wasn't for Rick I do not know how I would've done it. My Dog now walks right next to me like a good boy on a leash. This was so important to me since everyone stereotypes his breed just because he looks intimidating which is more of a reason as to why it was important to me for him to be educated. Thanks again Rick. I will definitely be taking my next Dog to you but this time I won't take so long to do so. Lol.
