The Humane Society of Charlotte

Can't believe I haven't left a review for this amazing place. After a hard time by another humane society in SC, I came to this one on a whim one day. The facility is clean and well maintained and the animals appear to be well taken care of. I met and fell in love with this lovely lady in April of lady year and can't imagine my life without her. The staff was amazing and seemed to truly care about the animals. The training and support offered by the facility is also phenomenal.

we adopted from the Humane Society over the weekend, and it was a great experience. they were so transparent about everything that had happened to our pup before we got him (behaviors, medical issues, medications, etc.) they also provided us so many adoption resources, which was so helpful as first-time pet owners! they are doing such great work here!

I LOVE the Humane Society of Charlotte! Every staffer I've met there is AMAZING! They're incredibly intelligent, kind hearted, and deeply dedicated to caring for animals with real love and compassion. I adopted my puppy from HSC and have continued to take her to their wonderful clinic for her vaccinations. the HSC clinic is infinitely better than the pricey private vet we've been to, in every way - HSC staff truly care, they ask me important questions and listen to my concerns, and they answer everything patiently and with expert knowledge. The entire facility is gorgeous too! I really really love this place and these people. Top notch!!

Caring dedicated staff. These guys and gals are really into loving and taking care of these animals like they are their own pets. Very welcoming the moment you step into the building and very accompanying We found our perfect kitty for our grandbaby, hat a team, thank you and Happy New Year!

We adopted two little scruffy dogs from HSC and the experience could not have been better! The people that work there are absolutely amazing! 🤩 Caring and absolutely helpful! Follow up etc all top! Our Mabel and Lucie are doing great in their new home and adjusted so well in a short time. We are very happy. I should have mentioned that we drove 600 miles each way from Florida to get our new furry kids. Thank you all at HSC! Keep up the wonderful work.
