Aaron is AMAZING!!! Very personable and TRULY cares about not only the owners but the dogs as well. He was very prompt and attentive to our needs. Very quick to recognize and address problems that we were having and offered a quick proactive approach to correct. We couldn’t be happier with the service provided. What we learned today is it’s not only the pet that needs help it’s US the handlers that can be ill prepared. Thank you Aaron and Educated Dog for your services! Job well done!

We were having a laundry list of behavior issues with our dogs, so decided to hire a dog trainer to help. We found Aaron’s business on Google, and he responded right away to our inquiry over the phone. Within a few days he came out to have the assessment and training session. Even BEFORE the session, we took some advice Aaron gave us over the phone and started to see improvements right away! Our dogs (10 and 4) were incredibly receptive to his advice, and we also learned a lot of things that WE needed to be doing differently in order to help our dog’s behavior as well. Aaron has trained both my older dog (12 years ago) and our puppy (7 months). His methods were consistent and effective even after not seeing him for over a decade. He patiently worked with our children and us modeling how to correct and understand our dogs’ behaviors. He gave us helpful ideas and tools to implement the changes we discussed. Only a three hour session and our hyper, food driven puppy understood when we commanded he stay out of the kitchen. I’ve never seen him lay down just outside of a room and wait patiently while we eat. Highly recommend working with Aaron!

Based on a recommendation, we had Aaron Stewart come out to help with our 3 dogs and I'm so happy we found him! We adopted Angel a few months ago and she was very loving to us but aggressive with strangers. Within a few minutes, Aaron observed that Angel was not aggressive but fearful (and that our actions were contributing to the fear). He was very patient in explaining how we can help Angel (and our other dogs) and gave us actionable notes and we practiced multiple times. I reached out to Aaron for help because my dog would bark constantly at any sound/dog and try to pick squabbles with dogs she didn't know! Aaron helped me understand how I was unknowingly teaching/rewarding my dog's bad behaviors and what changes I had to do to help her improve her reactions. After consistently implementing Aaron's instructions, we are both much happier!
