The Drooling Dog Bakery & Beyond

This shop is such a cool and unique spot to bring your furry friend to in downtown Ironwood. I was on vacation in Ironwood with my dog and drove by and knew I had to stop in. She loved all the smells and got to pick out her own delicious treats. They had a great selection of homemade dog treats, bones, dried animal parts, and cold treats. Love it!

I had concerns about product transparency and freshness (there are no visible "made on" or expiration dates on jarred treats when I visited). Separately, I was also put off by a public facebook post I saw from the business around late Dec 2025 that I felt was highly unprofessional, inflammatory, and irrelevant to the business. Overall, I’d recommend choosing a shop with clearer labeling and a consistently respectful, professional approach to their human customers, both on- and offline.

Our dog enjoyed this pit stop. Reasonable prices, a good assortment of treats, and the owner was friendly. It was pretty clean considering it’s a place that animals come in and out of all day!

Will come back! Michelle was both knowledgeable and friendly for all things dogs / pets. She stayed after hours talking to my girlfriend and I about our animals and lives - she is a very kind woman. She treated my dog like her own, giving him so much affection and attention. More than other pet shop owners who are normally scared of my Rottweiler. It’s the best pet shop I’ve ever been to and I will 100% come back the next time I am in town.
