The Doggie Barber

Can’t say enough good things about The Doggie Barber! We have a senior baby and had to find a new groomer after our previous one had to move away and they took such good care of our old guy. When we picked him up he was happy and calm which means so much as he is typically a nervous guy when it comes to grooming. They were a pleasure to work with!

06/21/25: My problem child won’t let me clip her nails or shave her pads myself anymore, so I had to call in the big guns! Anthony was very kind and did a great job. Her pads are cleeeeean now! It’s a lovely establishment, I will be coming back! EDIT: 08/30/25: just got home from our first full groom at The Doggie Barber. She looks lovely! Worth it! Your double coated breed is safe in their hands.

While I’m sure they do great work if your dog is perfectly well behaved and calm, they will not accommodate the incredibly nervous guys as promised on the phone when I made the appointment. I was upfront that my guy would not be happy and told them they could do whatever they needed to ensure safety of the staff and animal. I was assured over and over that it would be “no problem! we manage behavior all the time!” only for my dog to be treated like an alien for being very anxious his first time visiting. If they had been transparent they would not accommodate him I wouldn’t have wasted my time and put him through this experience.

They have excellent groomers your dog really looks good when when they're finished. Prices have gone up but it's worth it!
