The Dog Stop - Huntsville, Alabama

LaDawn Edwards, the owner of The Dog Stop, in Huntsville, AL. recommended a cool toy for Dottie, my Australian Shepherd puppy. I needed something to entertain her especially to keep her busy so I can enjoy my morning coffee undisturbed. It works. Dottie liked it right away & it’s near 3 weeks use & she still enjoys it! We love it!

I just picked my dog up and noticed he has a cut under his eye. Update: My dog has a scar and the staff couldn’t offer an explanation as to what happened other than he “might” have caught it on something in the kennel. I guess their facility having something exposed sharp enough to scratch his face, didn’t warrant any kind of reimbursement. Just some lack-luster apologize. I paid $300+ to have my dog come back with a permanent mark on his face. If you choose to board your dog, I recommend you choose a boarder that doesn’t have sharp things sticking out for your dog to nick themselves on. Also they’re going to charge you the full price even if you picked up your dogs a day early.

Brent Huser with Pet Stop Huntsville is fantastic to work with. He always gets back to you when you call and is incredibly quick to help. Anytime we’ve had an issue, he’s resolved it promptly and professionally. Brent truly goes above and beyond every time. The product itself is great, and the customer service is even better. Highly recommend!

October 27 - October 29, My dog Kane stayed here and will most definitely be his last stay here. Because I no longer trust this dog boarding. This was his second time staying here and it was way different from the first stay. When my sister went in to pick him up, his harness was strapped upside down and he rushed to the door. He never did that before. I noticed his behavior during these past couple of days. He didn't play and stay in one room. He also started to shake, especially when someone pets him. I called and talked to an employee and manager who says it's usually for dogs to do that and is high anxiety since they were thrown off the schedule of their regular routine. The manager said he would look back at the cameras and see if no wrong doing happened. I don't know if he ever did,
