The Dog House Resort & Spa

Our dog Lily has been to the dog house numerous of times for boarding and grooming. She loves it there! They take such good care of our girl and she is always looking her best when she comes out of her grooming appointments. We appreciate you dog house resort!

We have a year n half old dog who has gone since he was just 6 months old… and now taking our 14 week old husky, absolutely love how well the staff takes care of them in daycare and grooming. Any anxiety I had leaving the pups there is all gone!! Both pups love it and come home ready to sleep the night away. I recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to take their pups 🤩💁‍♀️

We have used this daycare and boarding center for years. I've waited to make this review to give the business ample time to make things right, but they did not. When we decided to board with this company, the website indicated that there were cameras in the boarding area. That set our mind at ease. It is always hard to leave your pets, but sometimes it is the only option. We liked that the dogs had playtime with one another during the day. My only complaint before this past summer was that the place was quite smelly. But then, we left our dogs for a short UP vacation. We received a call that our dog had been hurt while in his kennel. We pay extra to kennel our two dogs separately. So, he hurt himself while he was alone in a kennel. The employee said he may have been bit by another dog, fro

I understand that my dog is a problem child with anxiety who absolutely hates his paws being touched (nail trim) but I obliged when they suggested placing him on medication when bringing him in so with the veterinarians prescribed meds brought him in, that lasted only one time and on the second was told that they feel it would be safer for him to have him groomed by his vet when I asked blatantly that they do not want him back they said that was not it, but for his “safety” (insert finger quotes here) but then wouldn’t give him an appointment. This was after I dropped him for a wash, groom, nail trim, where he only was bathed and basically extorted being charged an ungodly amount for a bath. I love this place!! The ladies at the desk are friendly and welcoming, and the groomers do the best work around. I'm always happy with the way my dog looks and how she is treated on her day to the spa. My pup has high anxiety, and doesn't make it easy for them. But they have abundant patience with her, and treat her well despite her quirkiness!
