An amazing experience with Ed Mann, from The Dog Boss. Our shelter dog, Gus, learned almost as much as I did during Ed’s information-packed training sessions. Ed is warm, personable, experienced, effective—and fun. It was heartwarming to see our dog’s immediate response to such a capable, caring professional. It was equally satisfying to learn how to express leadership behaviors for our life ahead with Gus. I am very grateful to Ed, who will always be only a phone call away. As new puppy parents we didn’t know the first thing about training our new pup. We called Ed the dog boss, explained all of our issues and concerns and he worked out a plan for us when he came to visit. The home visits were great, he gave us great tips for leash training, jumping issues and touched on many of our other concerns. After the first visit we saw an immediate change in our puppy and in the way we handled behavioral issues. We love that Ed’s available to us by phone with any other issues that may pop up. We cannot recommend The Dog Boss enough! We sought help for our dog, Scuba Steve, who had issues with jumping on people and getting along with other dogs. Ed provided us with invaluable tips to address these behaviors. Now, Scuba Steve no longer jumps on people and can meet other dogs without barking or aggression. It's important to note that the training requires commitment. It’s not a one-time session that will magically change your dog. Ed equips you with the necessary tools to achieve a well-behaved dog. He emphasizes positive reinforcement and is incredibly knowledgeable. Plus, you can text him with any questions or issues that arise—he's with you every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the training we received.

We highly recommend The DOG BOSS. We have a beautiful energetic, over stimulated rescue named , Fritz. He was biting at the leash, tearing up our stairs, barking at shadows and going crazy anytime he saw another dog or human! Ed came in and showed us simple ways (but complex to us at the time) to handle the leash, techniques that provided us better control and understanding on how to handle Fritz. Today, we can honestly say that we know how to handle Fritz and enjoy his wild nature! Thank you, Ed! You really have a gift!
