I can't thank the team at The Cove enough for all they did for my Cavalier King Charles, Cooper through his recent emergency gallbladder surgery and for giving us such a wonderful experience. The level of professionalism, compassion, kindness and overall quality of care we were given at The Cove was out of this world. They treat their fur & human patients very well. I was always receiving updates about Cooper from his team with any concerns or progress. They were always honest and straightforward with me which I appreciated. They even allowed me to come in and help feed him when he was struggling to eat. They write the names of their patients on the door when they are being seen (so so cute)! They even took this photo of Cooper laying on my scarf for comfort the night before his surgery.

My sweet Ava has been coming there for almost 8 years. Dr. small has seen her through congestive heart failure and airway disease. Dr. Stallings helped to fix her leg. She wouldn’t Have been with me for almost 14 years if it wasn’t for the wonderful treatment she received here. Thank you so much for everything I lost Ava today to what we believe is kidney disease. I will be forever grateful to The Cove for being so good to my sweet little puppy. Thank you so much.

Our dog Meg had a partial maxillectomy at The Cove with Dr. Fox and her dental team. They were compassionate, thorough, and made this stressful experience manageable. The results after surgery are incredible - you can hardly tell part of Meg's jaw is gone. She looks and feels so good! Meg healed beautifully, and was back to her normal life (toys and dental chews included!) within a month. Of course major surgeries can be costly, but the care she received here was worth every penny. We are so grateful for Dr. Fox and her team at The Cove!

I’m so thankful for the team at The Cove. We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl last night, and the staff was incredible. They were so kind, patient, and compassionate, and they made sure our final moments with her were filled with love and peace. They took care of every request we had and made a heartbreaking experience a little more bearable. She passed peacefully with her head in my wife’s lap, surrounded by love. We’re so grateful for the care and support we received during such a difficult time.

I want to express my sincere gratitude regarding the recent surgery performed on my dog, Vilma, to remove a screw and a nail on a old fracture she had before we moved to Virginia. From start to finish, your team was absolutely amazing. The level of care and attention Vilma received was exceptional. I was particularly impressed with how perfectly the pain was managed throughout the process, which brought me immense peace of mind. I also truly appreciated that different treatment options were presented and thoroughly explained, allowing me to make informed decisions about my dog's care.
