They were friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. When you call for an appt. they can usually get you in the next day. They dont try to bully you into buying a bunch of stuff you don't need. Definitely recommend!

If you want your pet to die, this is the best place to send them. I took my 9 year old dog here because I found a lump on his leg. I immediately brought him in and they felt it and chalked it up to arthritis without doing any xrays or blood work. She just sent us home with pain meds. In my heart, I felt it was more but I wanted her to be right. 2 months on meds and the lump had gotten a lot bigger and my baby boy was not even able to get up cause he was in so much pain. I took him back and requested an x-ray and well, you guessed it.... cancer. They referred us to bluepearl and hes a tripod now and doing so much better. My baby boy is cancer free 💙 Now, onto my cat! I paced both of my dogs there for boarding and when I returned to pick them up one of them had a really bad bruised paw that no one could explain how it happened. Mysteriously the person that worked with my dogs wasn’t there the day I came back with questions.

We have trusted our pets and service dogs to Nansemond Vet for more than 20 years and have always had positive experiences. The drs are knowledgeable and caring. The staff are friendly and supportive. We highly recommend this facility.

Gail the groomer is the best ! She is like family and our dog loves her. Her services is second to none. Kudos All the staff is friendly and professional!
