So many loving, beautiful, playful cats and kittens, and the staff are all very knowledgeable and kind. We adopted from here a year and a half ago and our kitty is doing fantastic, and we will absolutely be back when we have room for another! Their adoption process is easy, and their vet staff ensures a clean bill of health before they go out the door!

I just adopted a 5 month old kitten from The Cat Welfare Association this past weekend. The staff are so kind and very knowledgeable about the cats/kittens they take care of there. When you walk in you are greeted by someone who takes a few minutes to talk with you about how things are run. Staff are available all through the building to answer any questions you may have and to help you visit with the furbabies. The adoption process is smooth. I applied online first and then went it to visit with the cats/kittens. I have been wanting to adopt a kitten for several years now and I visited The Cat Welfare Association a few years ago. I am so glad that I went back to them to find my sweet little one.

It is a bit small, but clean and the cats are well cared for, the kittens are in a separate room now and staff informative. I have adopted a kitten and years later an adult cat there. I stopped in to see what they currently have and if the facility has improved or not. Although I didn't adopt this visit, it was nice to see the improvements that have taken place for the cats. If I ever win the lottery I would have a much bigger facility built for Cat Welfare. Kudos to the staff and the volunteers for all they do for the animals.

This was the worst experience I've ever had trying to adopt a pet. My daughter just turned 6 and she proved to me and her father that she is responsible enough for a cat for all of the work shes done taking care of her fish (trust me, we know its a big responsibility difference lol.) My husband and I went the day after her birthday to surprised her and the entire staff were just completely rude and disrespectful. When we got there, the lady who greeted us was the farthest thing from a bundle of joy. Once we looked around, we filled out a form to adopt and some guy with crazy hair took us to a room with a cat to see if it was perfect fit and he was asking us basic and normal questions and we had mentioned getting the cat for our daughter and he became sketched out and took the cat back and

Me and my fiancé adopted Marjorie a couple weeks ago and we are so glad we came to this shelter. The staff and volunteers were so kind and you could really tell they really care about the animals. I highly recommend this shelter to anyone interested in adopting a cat. There are so many sweet and beautiful cats to choose from that really need a home.
