Dennis is a great trainer. He provides a good mix of dog/puppy training and owner training. He enters the home in a confident manner and reassures the owners of positive reinforcement. He answers all questions with his personal and professional experience. Our dog Tucker instantly acknowledged Dennis in that he knew the “aura” of a trainer entering the home and responded very well to his tools and techniques. We highly recommend him!

Bert is our 140 pound Great Dane. He has always been skidding on the collar and leash and I could never get him to go for walks. Over time he started to develop aggression towards other dogs and would jump the invisible fence line (we’re not allowed to have fences in our neighborhood). Coach Dennis arrived and made an immediate impact educating me on the importance of the right leash and collar to train Bert as well as control Bert. It’s not easy with a huge dog but Coach Dennis helped me train Bert and with patience and persistence Bert quickly learned to love his walks and listen to commands. Thank you, Coach Dennis! I strongly recommend your services to all my network.

You can tell Dennis has a lot of experience as a trainer. His training starts the moment he walks in the door. Right away he was able to get my Golden, that likes to jump on visitors, calmed down. My dog likes him and is very happy to see him when he comes to train. Dennis has a lot of useful pointers about behaviors that come up during our sessions. It took a while to find an independent trainer who works with you and your dog at. your home, and asks you what your priorities/needs for training are. I didn't want to take my dog to a "team" that trains dogs in a group with a fixed set of training lessons, or who wants to train him at their facility. Dennis is available by phone if i should have a question. It's a confusing jungle when you're searching for dog training. Overall, Dennis pr

Dennis was incredible with our energetic, year old puppy, Cruz. Cruz puts his mouth on everything and everyone, has terrible leash skills, awful manners when meeting someone new, counter-surfs, no recall, barks his head off constantly, but does all of these things while being the happiest puppy there is. Dennis provided us with such practical and efficient tools and there was a significant, positive change within a week. Dennis worked with our family to find methods that worked for us, Cruz included. We feel like we can finally enjoy this stage of puppy-hood, instead of feeling like we’re suffering through. Dennis’s training has made such an impact on our family and we are so grateful. What a difference he has made!

Dennis at Columbus K9 Coach was excellent with helping us train our new puppy. He gave clear, manageable training tips. And as a busy mom of four, I appreciated his timely and thorough communication and follow-up. I know he set us up to thrive as pet owners and to have a well-adjusted dog .
