The Barking Dog - Derry

My boys absolutely love being at the barking dog in derry. They know most of the staff really well and they are very comfortable with them. They practically run me over in the car to get out to and into the daycare they are so excited. Lol! This stay was a long one 9days they did boarding and full day daycare. Had some training for leash manners and a full grooming! Who can say they got that all in one place and they were happy and comfortable with the whole experience. My boys have been going there since they were very young pups and are always happy to be there.

Stella always seems especially delighted to be walking up the Barking Dog path to playtime and she appears to be in fine spirits when i pick her up ... we have been coming for five years and i trust them with looking out for my little heart.

Our little juniper had her first boarding experience here and we felt so comfortable leaving her in such good hands. They communicated how she was doing very well and did what they could to make her more comfortable. It was awesome to be able to have her get a bath and a nail trim while she was there too. By the time we picked her up she was right at home! Definitely will be back, and will recommend.

This is a very well ran facility and does a excellent job considering the size. The staff is friendly and cares forn he animals, the facility is clean and well kept. The dogs came back happy with not a lot of stress which is a good sign of a good stay. It is not a small kennel but the treatment is as good as a smaller more personable facility. They did a good job our first visit and returning again this weekend. Recommend this place.

I enrolled my senior dog Pepper in daycare after our other dog suddenly passed away. She was struggling being alone & I needed time to process the loss before getting a friend for Pepper. Pepper made so many new friends. A few weeks later we added a new Motley Mutt Rescue pup from MS, named Boots. Boots had been through a lot in a few short weeks. She was nervous, scared and not quite sure why she found herself in a new home so far from where she started with people she didn't know. I enrolled Boots in daycare with Pepper - what a difference a few weeks made!! It's now at the point during the work week I can't get out the door without them. They both LOVE daycare and the humans that care for them while they are there. I highly recommend giving this daycare a try!
