The Aquatic Critter

The Aquatic Critter is simply the best aquatics store in town. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and care about both the animals and their customers. I purchased a betta fish, tank, and all the necessities with them, but decided the tank was a little too big and went back to get a smaller one. They found me exactly what I needed in an efficient manner with smiles on their faces. Kevin and Evan were especially helpful. Thank you to the Aquatic Critter for my happy, healthy fish and his set up!! :)

I bought my redtail, redtail hybrid, mono peacock bass, as well as my ghost knife and my Orinoco peacock bass and all of my fish are big and never any health issues even years after owning

I’ve been coming in here since I was old enough to drive. That’s saying something approaching 43 years of age this summer. Love you guys. I’ve got an hour drive from Gallatin every time I decide to roll your way on a gamble of “what if”. “What if” turns into “why not”. 4 tanks later and I’m still like a little kid every time.

I first visited Aquatic Critter back in 2020 when I brought my niece and her best friend (a child I was tutoring during the COVID lockdown) on a little field trip. Even then, I remember being so impressed by how kind everyone was and how beautiful and healthy all of the specimens looked. Today I returned to pick out a tank for my three-year-old daughter for Christmas, and the experience was just as great as I remembered. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, patient, and professional. A special shoutout to Jack, who helped me today. He was incredibly patient with all of my questions, and he is extremely knowledgeable about fish care.
