The Animal Medical Center of Fort Oglethorpe

Our Sadie was attack by an aggressive dog on Thursday. On Saturday morning she wasn’t moving or eating. They took her right in and performed surgery the same day to ensure the puncture didn’t go through her abdominal wall (thankfully it didn’t) and found a pocket of puss. They cleaned her up and we had her home by late afternoon. The cost was appropriate and the care was nothing short of perfect. We love taking both of our dogs here but Saturday made me love it even more! She woke up Sunday a brand new dog!

Everyone was super friendly and they were good to my doggo. We were there for his annual shots and wellness check. He also got his nails clipped and they got him to get it done! We were seen quickly which made the visit easier for me and they didn't have to hear my dogs songs all day.

Had an appointment today to have my feral cat seen for anxiety meds. It took us a good half hour or so to get her into the crate to take her. She has never been to the vet, let alone outside of our house because she is extremely timid. She is scared to death of such little things so I wanted to be able to get her some meds to help calm her down. On the way to our vet appointment my husband’s truck engine started acting up so we turned around and headed back home to go get my car. Before we left home I contacted the vet to let them know what was going on and that we were going to be a little late and if that was going to be OK. I wanted to know if they would still see my cat. The girl on the phone did not even advise the vet of what was going on and how much trouble it was for us to accommo

The Animal Medical Center accommodated a very last minute request- everyone was very professional- I was seen right away and the care given was excellent. The vet was extremely knowledgeable, and information was delivered in a compassionate and easy to understand manner. Very thankful to AMC for their assist.

Dr. Ray and staff were so kind and compassionate today when I brought in my puppy. They were able to squeeze in an appointment when I called this morning and get him on the same day! I was so grateful to get him in today for his booster. Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful. They even gave my little guy a pup cup to distract him while he got his ouchy, so it didn't even phase him one bit! This was a wonderful experience. I'm so glad to have found such a great vet for my sweet pup. Thanks everyone at The Animal Med Center!
