My cat died on Friday night and I wasn't informed until nearly twelve hours later. This refused to talk to me about my cat's condition because the rescue I adopted her from was covering the costs of panleukopenia treatment. She died and was too busy to notify the rescue so I could receive a timely notification. No compassion. Protocol could have been broken. I could have received a phone call. My cat is gone. I didn't even get to say goodbye.
