In all honesty, this is the BEST vet clinic I have ever been to. I’ve taken my dogs to six other clinics in this area, and this one is by far the best. The staff is extremely kind, Dr. McKamie is an outstanding veterinarian, and they do not overcharge. I have four Boxer dogs, and I recently had to bring my eldest in for the removal of several growths. One specific growth had become very concerning—it grew extremely fast, opened up, and she began chewing at it. I knew she was in a lot of pain. We brought her in to get a quote for removing some (or hopefully all) of the growths, and to check the cost of a dental cleaning because her breath was beyond rough—no matter how much we brushed her teeth, the smell was 𝘽𝘼𝘿. The place was nice that gets one star. Otherwise staff give the wrong info on the phone. I was told days to come in as a walk-in and they are scheduled out weeks for neutering . The staff are rude and oblivious of it. 4 people at desk, talking to each other and on phone with people in line. Finally get to talk to one of them and she asks the other employee questions that are answered in a very low voice. The person talking to me thinks I can hear a conversation that was meant to be between them and looks at me to respond to what was said in her ear. And no, I am not hard of hearing. I said I didn’t hear the personal conversation. She then conveys to me. If they speak where the customer can hear the conversation a middle person isn’t needed. I had an excellent experience at Temple Animal Hospital. The front desk staff and the doctor were very friendly, respectful, and helpful from the moment I walked in. There was a short line at opening, but we only waited about five minutes. The staff worked efficiently while still being patient and kind with every person and every pet. When it was our turn, they brought us into a room right away and we were seen after just a few minutes. The doctor took time to talk with us, explain what was going on, and answer every question. he was polite, friendly, relatable, and clearly cares about the animals he treats. It never felt rushed or transactional. It felt like real care. I have been to multiple vet clinics before, including some in the Waco area, and this is the best experience I have had

Great vet. Love the customer service and the doctors. The medicine is much cheaper than my local vet. Meloxicam was $2 a pill. Here it is only like .10 cents a pill (can’t remember exactly). They are caring and see how animals are part of the family.

Would give zero stars if it was an option. Was told when I called to get my puppies second set of shots to just come as a walk in...so I did. First time ever going here and first impression was just not it. Stood for about 10 mins waiting to be helped which is fine but Noone acknowledged anyone waiting that they would be with us. Finally got to the red head at check in and let her know what I was there for. I asked how long the wait was and was told an hr. Which was too long for me as I had my 2 Littles with me. I asked if I could make an appt and was then informed they only do walk ins. I then asked for his records in which she had an attitude and stated "an hr is one of our better wait times". Didn't apologize or do anything to keep us as clients. Wouldn't recommend or ever go back.
