My experience with TC Canines was a very positive one. I was introduced to him by a gentleman in my neighborhood that had a very well trained dog. I reached out to TC Canines and expressed what I was looking for. I sought out a trainer PRIOR to having a dog. I wasn’t even sure he would take me serious as I did NOT have the dog yet. I explained exactly what I was looking for. I was certain that I wanted a rescue that was lovable and sorta low energy. Travis (owner) went around to various shelters and found the perfect furry companion. Who even does that… drive around and SEEK a dog? Anyway, now that he found her, time to train. Training (for me and her) was easy to understand and implement. My family now has a well behaved, one year old little snuggle bug. In about 1 more year, I will a

Travis did an amazing job with my fur baby. I reached out to another trainer and was quoted $500 more for the same services. I am very happy that he was able to correct the problem and I would highly recommend his services.

I would not recommend this trainer. I paid $855 for a board and train program for my dog from May 20–27, 2025, with the understanding that he would work on leash pulling, barking, recall, impulse control, and the quiet command. He did not learn anything new during the program. Instead, I was told to buy two different collars, and only the second one I purchased separately fixed the issues. If that was the real solution, it should have been explained before I paid for training. When I asked for a partial refund (keeping payment for boarding at his stated $40/day rate), he refused and told me to “go to my bank.” That alone should say enough. On top of that, the environment did not feel professional. He often brought up inappropriate conversations that had nothing to do with training, which

We took our 100 lb Cane Corso to Travis for the 2 week board and train program and it was the absolute best investment ever. It was night and day - our dogs behavior had improved sooo much. I was worried that since our dog was 9 months old, that we had missed the most opportune time for training, but Travis’s 20 years of experience and clear plan for training AND followup on training allayed all of my fears. After the 2 week board and train program, he came to our home to follow up with us on her training plan and perfect some of my own actions in the training process with our dog on the homefront. Our dog now listens on command, loves her crate, is easy to manage on a leash instead of dragging me down the street, and just an overall easier more enjoyable companion animal that integrates i

It almost feels pointless to leave yet another well-deserved 5 star review for Travis and T.C. Canines, but maybe our needs were the same as someone who is reading these reviews. We have an extremely well-bred and intelligent Boxer puppy from one of the best breeders in the country. The problem with an extremely intelligent and well-bred puppy is that he answers to no one. He is the most amazing puppy - friendly, smart, loyal - but he is well aware of his awesomeness and takes direction from absolutely no one. Except Travis. And now us. Travis, all the time. Us? Most of the time. I was extremely skeptical about what Travis would be able to do in 6 days, and in fact, I tried to get him in for the 2 week advanced training. Travis said that wasn't necessary. Travis was right. When
