Cannot say enough good things about Take Paws! I worked with Robin to rescue sweet little Josie Marie (now Nelly) and I will forever be grateful for this wonderful little addition to my family. Robin was responsive, communicative, transparent about the process and so sweet ~ it’s so evident how much she cares for each and every pup and how much she wants them to find their perfect forever home. She’s checked in on sweet Nelly multiple times and has been so helpful with any of my concerns or questions and with getting Nelly microchipped! The whole process was wonderful and I can’t recommend this rescue enough.

Take Paws is an excellent organization!! Just adopted our second puppy from them. Very responsive to answer any of our questions during and after the adoption process. They are an asset to the city and to all the dogs they help.

Two stray yellow lab puppies (Tater and Tot) showed up to my house. No owners were found. I reached out to Take Paws Rescue and they were immediately on the case! They had fosters lined up ready to take care of them within the week. They are for adoption now and I’m praying they find the best forever homes. They are the sweetest most deserving puppies! I’m so thankful for Take Paws for taking care of these babies!

Shared from a recent adopter: I had two wonderful but old dogs, Unica a black lab who dragged one hind leg and Katie a hound mix who had difficulty getting up with weak hind legs, so I thought I’d look into bonded pairs of dogs who might need a new home. I started looking at dogs listed in shelters that were near me in Massachusetts, then around New England or 2-400 miles from me. I never thought I’d find not only my two dogs, but a group of people who made both the adoption and the travel for the 1,465 miles up the east coast one of the easiest adoptions I have ever been part of! They worked tirelessly and with such dedication to help my husband and me find the perfect pup to join our family and get along with our two current dogs.
