Oh my goodness!! I love these folks. We have had 2 goat does in the past few weeks. First time mommas. Drs McKinzie and Long saw them. Dr McKinzie took care of Bea with such patience and kindness at the end of his very long farm call day. She was making googly eyes at him as he milked her giant milk bag out for sweet relief!!! Dr Long got the pleasure of an 11:30pm haul in appointment with Catie, also a first time momma 24 hours prior. The most dramatic creature that God ever created. She is a 185 Alpine and does not travel well. Enough said. She was suffering from some deficiencies and Dr Long and Ashley were our saviors. Very accommodating to schedule 2 PPE and then Coggins. I flew up to see one of their clients horses and made arrangements only 2 weeks in advance to meet the vet for examinations. Everything went smoothly and I found the health exam to be all inclusive, thorough as well as thoughtful. The horses will be shipped to me later this week.

Well my dog didn’t die during her spay! Dog is recovering well, eating drinking living the spoiled good life. Would recommend this vet to anyone. Staff was curious, helpful, and concerned for my baby girl during her procedure. 10/10 would recommend this vet for your dogs needs! Probably cats as well if you’re into that sort of thing! Dr. Long and TVH demonstrated utmost care and compassion to both my 16 year old miniature poodle and myself on Tuesday, Nov 8 2025. First, TVH agreed to see us the very same day I called. They listened closely to my concerns with both empathy and honesty. Then Dr. Long performed a comprehensive exam on Bluberry. He allowed me to decide the scope of treatment while suggesting options and respecting my budget! He and his crew understand that Blue is absolutely everything to me, making me feel much better. Although we found out the end result of my Leelu girls diagnosis isnt a good one and we will eventually have to say good bye. Dr Long with Tahoma Veterinary Hospital gave me more answers in 1 day than another vet gave me in a month. He gave us advice, also cared about our finances so we werent spending money where it wouldn't change the out come of what was found. This is a very Honest, affordable, and knowledgeable Veterinary office and I would recommend them to anyone who is willing to listen to me they take care of your pet like they are family not a dollar sign!
