I wouldnt coose any other clinic to take my exotics or my mamal children too! We had to help our family dog of nearly 13 years cross the 🌈 bridge 1 week and 1 day ago and the compassion and love that was not only given to our family but our Harley girl was comforting. They have been the go to vet in our family since I can remember. VERY responsive via text and phone and their prices are unbearable! I would highly recommend selecting them to take care of your critter no matter what type.

I am so grateful to Spanaway Veterinary Clinic for being so greedy, and demanding we do a full $88 exam plus $36 every time our pup needed a simple vaccine. This prompted us to dig in and do our research. We found that we can get the same vaccine at Tractor Supply for $17.99 and do it ourselves. What a blessing! We explained to them that we could not afford $124 every 3 to 4 weeks, just for vaccines, but their primary focus was charging us exorbitant fees. Clearly they were not as worried about our pups health as they were with ripping us off. Now we know and will never look back. I'm sure their clinic is having financial issues and unjustly takes full advantage of loving pet owners. They demonstrated to us that they do not operate in good faith. Freindly staff and super knowledgeable and gentle vets! My older cat, who is twelve, hides often, and the vet worked with him to make him feel as safe and comfortable as possible, even getting down onto the floor to perform his check-up. Very grateful!

So I am really frustrated. My biggest issue, their communication is very lacking, and their behavior is appalling at best. Staff is rude unless they know you'll be spending a pretty penny. I have one dog whom I adopted who had a UTI(this was known at the time of adoption and we were sent home with meds that seemed to help but it got worse so we sought out further treatment), we took her to serval vets all of them treating it to the point it would dwindle down, and then flar back up again. Spanway seemed to be the best option. We took her in, we brought ALL our paperwork (from other vets we had visited even from humane society where she was adopted from) and the doctors REFUSED to listen us about what we've already tried to treat this UTI, AND THEY STILL WANTED TO PUT HER ON MEDICINE THAT F

My senior dog had an aggressive and infected breast cancer/tumor, ER wouldn’t do the surgery so we went here and got an appointment within a week! Staff and Doctor was very quick to get us a surgery in same day and completed within 7 hours of care. They even gave her a nail trim and updated vaccine while she was under. This total about $1720 for everything: meds, x-ray, surgery, diagnosis (WHICH IS A GREAT PRICE!!!) I’m so thankful for this clinic and will definitely be back.
