I can't even begin to tell you how kind Dr. Glen Portie and the entire staff at Sunset Canyon was to us upon the emergency care and passing of our sweet kittie and family member Sallie Taylor. I can't begin to explain how incredibly happy we are to have found a Vet that our sweet Lucca is not hesitant to step foot in. GSD are known for their anxiety and are naturally protective. Lucca was seen by Dr. Rivera and he was incredible. Loved his bedside manner and she did so well at her visit. One thing I loved was the amount of space their was when you enter the lobby that had spaced out seating. The care from the moment we walked in and walked out was phenomenal. They do in house labs so you get your labs same day while you're waiting. Lastly, they do the necessary treatments and go from there. They aren't like a lot offices that run everything possible that might not be needed at that time and the cost was extremely fair. We're in Buda, but they came highly recommended. It w

We’ve been bringing our Labrador littermates, Emmy Lou and Willie, to Sunset Canyon Veterinary Clinic for the past six years, and it’s hard to put into words just how much this place means to us. From day one, the entire team has shown nothing but kindness, expertise, and true care—not just for our dogs, but for us as pet parents, too. Every visit has been a positive experience, and we’ve always felt that our pups were in the best hands. One of the biggest milestones we’ve accomplished together with the clinic was helping Emmy Lou and Willie reach a healthy weight. With their guidance, support, and encouragement, we made some big changes to their diet and lifestyle, and the transformation has been incredible. Sunset Canyon Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Taylor changed our lives. When my dog Henry was diagnosed with cancer, we were devastated and unsure how much time we had left. Because of Dr. Taylor’s extraordinary care, thoughtfulness and willingness to go above and beyond, Henry lived well beyond what we initially believed was possible. More importantly, he lived well — with comfort, dignity and love — and when the end came, we were able to give him the care he deserved because we were so well supported and prepared.
