Sunriser Kennels

My dog seemed to have enjoyed herself. Plenty of room for her to run. The establishment looks run down but the owners are very nice and knowledge. Would have given 5 stars, but I was quoted one price on the phone for a 2 night stay over the weekend for my medium size dog and was charged a greater price when I picked her up. Also, they do not let you get your dog on Sunday. I had to drive past the location on my way home on Sunday afternoon, then return Monday morning to pick up the dog.

The owners are not only reliable and knowledgeable, being pet owners/trainers themselves, but are also genuinely passionate about caring for others' pets. This was the ultimate reason for us for choosing Sunriser Kennels. Prices are absolutely reasonable, whether for one night stay or longer ones. They have a wide running area with sand and toys, individual runs for large and small dogs with access to sand area and with access to temperature controlled individual side; they provide the beds and the bowls. The whole structure is safe and comfortable to leave our pets at, as the running area is fenced with high flat wooden slats. My dog absolutely loves them and I never worry about her. She takes medicine and Jan and Len are very detail oriented and thorough. I can't think of a better place or better people to trust my Pittie Princess with! Highly, highly recommend!

The couple who run this kennel care about the dogs in their care. What else could you want in a kennel? I have boarded here twice and will do again. For my money someone who cares about my dog as much as theirs is all I can ask. From what I can bring to make my pup comfortable (bedding, worn shirt, toys) to what the ingredients of the treats they give to them I know that the comfort and well being of my dog is being taken care of.

Best of the best. I cant be happier than that. Great people. Great care. My dog even feel better and looks very happy.
