Sumner Springs Veterinary Clinic

We took our sweet golden here less than a year ago for an annual check up after having a bad experience at another vet in town and absolutely loved it. Dr Bates was so amazing with him. Unfortunately we had to rush our Marley boy to the emergency vet and unexpectedly lost him. I received a sympathy card from Dr Bates herself and it meant the world to us. You can tell they truly care about the animals they see and we will absolutely be returning with our next pup. Their pricing is also very reasonable compared to other vets in town.

It's taken me a long time to be able to write this review, it's very over due but well deserved. We went out of town and left our sweet fur baby in the care of a rover sitter within 48 hours he very tragically passed away. The sitter brought him to this veterinary clinic and they held on to him for over a week till we were able to return. They took great care of him and even made us a paw print mold that we cherish so very much. I'm so extremely grateful to everyone here that helped us through the most awful tragic event that our family endured. I have been and will continue to recommend this place. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you again so much.

We received 2 rescue kittens literally at midnight two nights ago and they got them both in the same day. They are brother and sister. Sister who we named Sassy had a horrible infection in her left eye when we got them and Dr. Bates is just amazing! Little brother, Simon is healthy thank God. We have to take Sassy back Saturday to see if she gets to keep her eye. We are claiming and believing in Jesus name she will get to keep her eye. She has been receiving antibiotics and pain medicine round the clock. This was our first time at this clinic and everyone was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff and Dr. Bates are truly in this business for the love of animals. We are transferring all our other fur babies here because another local clinic has no empathy or compas

Doctor Bates, josh, and their techs were amazing in helping me in the final days with my pig, Bonnie. They were extremely accommodating and were the only place willing to help me. As someone who also works in the animal industry, they seem to have genuine care and compassion towards the animals they help and their owners. They were realistic, but empathetic which I appreciate. Some places will run you broke with the false promise of a healthy animal at the end of it. I also found their prices extremely reasonable considering the services that I needed. I work for the crematorium she was sent to, and they even followed up with my coworkers about how we were doing. We were listened to, accommodated, and helped. Thank yall from the bottom of my heart.

So thankful for the compassionate and caring groomer that helped in a crisis! My pup got sprayed by a skunk and she went above and beyond to aid me in getting my boy a good bath to attempt to reduce the smell and discomfort. She communicated with me every step of the way and took on a spur of the moment Saturday groom. Thankful for the friendly office staff as well for their kind words!
