Sullivan County Animal Hospital

First time coming to this veterinary office and we had a great experience. My dog is dog aggressive, so they cleared a room to get him in there without being in the waiting room (he waited in the car for the lobby to be clear as well) and they cut his nails (his last vet wouldn't do this) so that's a huge bonus for me!!

Took my dog in, as a new patient, for vaccines. Appointment at 10:00, I checked her in at 10:00 and sat in the lobby for 30 minutes. Taken to a room and sat for another 10 minutes before asking if my dog was going to be seen. When the vet came in, he didn't spend 5 minutes with her, asked no questions about her overall health. Injected vaccines without cleaning areas, I think he got a drop of blood for heartworm test. Overall very disappointing visit, I'm hoping that it was just a bad day. I paid over $200 and I didn't even know the veterinarians name until I looked at the paperwork.

I love this place always been treated well and my animals are always been in good hands in there … recommend 100%

I would highly recommend Sullivan County Animal Hospital. Gracie, my 1-year-old cocker spaniel, had an emergency situation. She swallowed a dental flosser before I could get it away from her. Dr. Ben was very professional and aired on the side of caution as far as going right in to operate on her versus continuing to observe her behavior and hoping at some point that she would pass the dental flosser. Luckily the next morning she vomited the flosser up and is fine now. I was thankful that Dr Ben did not decide to do surgery on her and his expertise and experience proved very valuable in this situation. Paula Warnick Terre Haute Indiana

They squeezed us in at the last moment for rabies boosters after our dogs found a baby bat in our yard. Im so thankful for them making us welcome and taking care of all three of our girls. I was so worried and they eased my mind. My pups aren't used to going all together at the vet and one is absolutely terrified of going, but the staff were really great and didn't make me feel bad about the chaos we brought in.
