Sugar Paws Dog Training

As a student dog trainer at CATCH, I had the opportunity to observe owner Laura Juliano conduct a basic puppy kindergarten. Laura understands dogs better than anyone I've ever met, and she handled even the rare rough play between two puppies quickly and calmly. I watched her as she taught the owners how to follow basic commands that she had first demonstrated. She treated both the owners and their pups with respect. And everyone learned. Each puppy owner got things to practice before the next week's, with written material as a review and resource for the class they had just taken. Sign your puppy up and set him or her up for success! You won't regret it.

Our puppy Hubie has attended all three puppy classes, we have learned so much and had the best time! The instructors are all so wonderful very kind and patient. We look forward to going back for therapy classes one day and all our future pups will be Sugar Paw trained!

I’m so grateful for Sugar Paws for providing a safe environment to help me learn and train my first puppy, Luke. Not only did we complete puppy kindergarten and advanced puppy one, but my puppy and I love the socials. It was evident how passionate Laura and her staff are about dogs and positive reinforcement. I enrolled my puppy, Milo, in Puppy Kindergarten class not knowing what to expect, and was so impressed that we came back for the Advanced puppy classes. Tara, our trainer, has been with us every step of the way, and I can’t thank her enough for the incredible progress Milo has made. She uses positive reinforcement techniques that not only helped Milo learn essential commands but also strengthened our bond. Tara’s patience, expertise, and genuine love for dogs made all the difference!! It’s amazing to see how far Milo has come, and I truly believe he’s the best version of himself because of Tara’s guidance. Highly recommend this training program!

We researched several different dog training locations and spoke to a handful of trusted friends after deciding on Sugar Paws and it was really the best decision we could have made for us and our puppy. After just completing Puppy Kindergarten last night, we're really happy with the results over the last six weeks! Our Welsh Springer spaniel has learned numerous basic commands in addition to getting crucial socialization time to learn skills that are so important for future behavior and obedience.
