Genuinely the best vet I’ve been to. I have two Guinea pigs and the exotic vet is genuinely the sweetest and most calm individual and understands I’m a college student with a low income. Highly recommend this place. Wonderful staff, great customer service, and always follows up on your animals. Absolutely worth the 30 minute drive.

Very nice vet and office staff. They were compassionate and kind toward my cat even though he doesn’t love being handled. They even handled my tears over my cats high fever with ease. They sent a text the next day to check on him as well which I thought was kind. Would recommend this practice to others and will use them in the future for my other pets.

I would suggest anyone that has a pet to bring them here! Dr. Ames is absolutely WONDERFUL! He is the most caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable vetinarian that I have ever met. My whole family takes their fur babies to Dr. Ames and we wholeheartedly trust him with the care of our babies. We would follow him anywhere...and we have lol! I would not trust my fur babies with anyone else but Dr. Ames! He is an incredible, caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable vet. Do not second guess your decision to make an appointment with him. I recommend hands down! His knowledge and compassion from the whole practice is so appreciated.

I had a really hard time finding a vet that cared in Greenville. All my babies are special needs that need frequent care. I had to fight every vet to listen and do the right thing until Dr Ames. He is dedicated and invested in their care. He and the staff are absolutely wonderful. I could not be more thankful for the level of care and service everyone in the clinic gives!

We can't say enough great things about Dr. Ames and his practice! It's the first time we've felt 100% satisfied and confident in our veterinary care. Dr. Ames' knowledge, gentle bedside manner, and genuine care of our pets is outstanding.
