JJ and Traci are absolutely wonderful — working with them feels like catching up with good friends. They are genuinely kind, wholesome people who provide an incredible service to the community, and I’m especially grateful for the gentle snake training JJ does with my animals. I truly believe this small investment has saved us many times over — it’s worth every penny! This is the only snake training outfit I trust, and I love that they even offer touch-up sessions at a reduced fee. Highly recommend!

Says tucsons best groomer, but far from it. Had a terrible experience and poor customer service

Attended Rattlesnake Avoidance class with Jay Belchar. While hiking in the dessert my dogs took an interest in a shrub of sage brush along the trail. It was not until they were within 48" of the bush, did I realize there was a snack. My knee jerk reaction was to lunge at my dogs to grab them. One of my dogs' reactions was to instinctively jump away from me - and instead lunge OVER that snake. It turns out the snake was dead. However, this incident inspired me to attend this class. Dog trainer Jay Belchar did not disappoint. Since my dog was the only one present at the time of training, the entire process went quickly. In less than a half hour my German shepherd went from curious and moving towards the snake, to cautious and apprehensive. Mission accomplished!6

A gr8 experience. The instructor was very knowledgeable and treated his snakes, humanely and with respect . I would definitely recommend the sublime canine team .

Thank you, JJ for your excellent rattlesnake advoidance training held July 16, 2017 in Mancos. You saved my Chocolate lab from being bitten by the snake in the photo. As I walked across the top of the cattle guard he went around bent his head slightly to sniff heard the rattle and was headed quickly down the hill and away. Bravo you're training saved the day.
