While on a trip to South Dakota my dog Joey became lethargic and started shivering so I took him to Sturgis Veterinary Hospital & Equine. Joey was seen immediately by a Veterinary doctor and an assistant where I explained Joey's symptoms. After a thorough examination, the vet discovered that Joey had an ulcerated cornea (a scratch on his eye). The vet prescribed medication to prevent infection and promote healing. I very much appreciated the care this hospital gave Joey. Three weeks later, I’m happy to report that Joey is back to his usual self and in good health.
