South Dakota Canine Center

Stella had a lot of issues, nipping, sprinting after rabbits, not coming when called to name a few. She was controlling us !!!! Tim kept Stella for 3 weeks and took her everywhere. We took her to breakfast and there was a dog 2 tables down and Stella ignored him.( before training she would have been barking, jumping And carrying on that we would have had to leave) she is now much calmer and looks to us So she doesn’t have to make decisions on her own. We would highly recommend Tim and Kelly training your dog to make your life Wonderful…ps we have a border collie and was very high maintenance.

Highly recommend South Dakota Canine Center! This was my first time boarding here, and I couldn’t be happier. My dogs came home happy, healthy, and well cared for after 10 days. The price is comparable to other facilities, but what really sets SDCC apart is the large outdoor play area where the dogs can run and play—it makes a huge difference knowing they aren’t stuck in a kennel all day. I’ll definitely be using them again.

We recently took our 6 month old Golden Retriever to the SD Canine Center For a 3 week stay and train. He is a much calmer pup and responds to commands well! When we were able to pick him up Tim spent 3 hours going over what he learned (training us!) which has been so helpful! I would recommend Kelly,Tim and the SD Canine center if you’re struggling with your dog’s behavior! We think they are fantastic!

We recently boarded 3 dogs at this facility. It’s very affordable, clean and has a spacious outdoor area. Kelly was amazing and very helpful. We recently moved to Rapid City from San Diego and everyone recommended this place. My dogs were very happy when I picked them up. I love that they have an outdoor area to play and burn off that energy. We have an older Lab, an Aussie and a Maltese. I was able to communicate with Kelly when I arrived from out of town early and I was able to pick them up after closing. I have already booked another trip and I know my dogs will be well taken care of.

We were in Sturgis at Days End Campground, we asked for a good place for our 2 dogs SDCC was recommended. Boy were they right! This was the first time my dogs had been boarded anywhere. I was so nervous, but when I picked them up I could see how happy my doggos were. There was a large fenced in yard and everything was so clean. And so reasonably priced! It was a wonderful things to be able to sight see and know my dogs just weren't safe but also happy. Thank you SDCC you made our trip great!
