Extremely Disorganized and Overpriced — Would Not Recommend My experience here was very disappointing. Despite sending my cats’ medical history in advance, I had to repeat the same information multiple times and provide documents again while in the office. The staff seemed disengaged and unprepared, and the visit took three hours — far longer than any veterinary appointment I’ve had in the five years I've owned my cats. The pricing was also unreasonable. I was charged around $1,000 for an EU health certificate for two cats, plus an hourly fee on top of the service cost. I’ve lived in Utah, Hawaii, and Colorado with my pets and have never experienced charges structured this way or paid anywhere near this amount. Incredibly unorganized. Despite making an appointment in advance, and we're told that the appointment was not on their schedule and they tried charging us for a walk-in appointment. We then waited 40 minutes until someone came to talk to us telling us our dog needs a check up and cytology even though we were there this summer and they did not have it on their records. Completely ridiculous. We won't be coming back.

My dogs have been a patient at stream valley for almost 2 years and I have finally left. Everyone is friendly but honestly what a disorganized group who truly do not care about your pets. They use allergy medicine like a school nurse would recommend tums to an elementary kid without actually digging into the problem. What finally made me leave was they didn’t treat my dogs paw cut properly (claiming it was an allergy when it was in fact a puncture wound needing antibiotics, which if they shaved his paw and swabbed they would have figured it out but they barely looked at it), causing months of care and infections and then a trip to the emergency vet. Then after the emergency vet the same dog had an accident and they refused to make time for him, said to go spend even more money at the ER. I

Great work at Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital; being new to the area it was difficult finding a team of professionals that we could FULLY trust with out two petit Maltese (Charlie and Daisy). However, once we found Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital we were so happy to find such a caring team of professionals who "know their stuff". Led by Dr. Cory one can see why they are amazing. Since moving to Ashburn our pets have begun their transitions to "elder pups" and my little Daisy was diagnosed with cancer. Charlie has his issues but the cre provided to them both was amazing AND affordable. Compassion and caring and expert advice is what we've encountered with Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital. Losing my cat was one of the hardest experiences I've ever gone through, but the staff at Stream Valley Vet made all the difference during such a painful time. From the moment we arrived, they treated both me and my cat with the utmost care, dignity, and compassion. Even after my cat passed, their kindness continued. The follow-up, the small gestures, and the quiet understanding they offered helped me feel a little less alone in my grief. One of the techs, Riley, even went out of their way to reminisce with me about what they remember about my cat from when I would board him at their office, which I appreciated so much.
