Stray Rescue of St Louis

I've had Bowser (formally known as Mr Snuggles) for a month almost two at this point... the shelter is amazing!! The staff wonderful, atmosphere - also wonderful getting to meet some dogs. Thanks to Ryleigh helping us pick Mr Snuggles and then, because he's part of the one love club he gets his heartworm & flea and tick AND free dog food, all for our boy Bowser!!! We are so grateful of everyone who loved on our baby until we adopted him to his furever home!!! I will fur-ever recommend Stray rescue of St Louis!!!

We just adopted our first dog from stray rescue! Absolutely wonderful experience! We have always rescued from animal control, the APA, and now Stray Rescue of St.Louis! What was so amazing (besides the staff) was this is the only rescue that will allow a meet and greet with your current dog. Our male crossed the rainbow bridge in December, and they were such a bonded pair, she was getting lonely and a bit depressed. The wonderful staff listened to me about our girls personality and picked out males for her to meet. The first 2 didnt go so well but 3rd time is a charm, and she chose Emerald Moon, for her new companion. We couldn't be happier for this little man to join our pack. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This was beyond the best experience I’ve ever had. The staff was absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond for us. They take such good care of the animals. Just amazing all around and will recommend them every single time! We are so happy and filled with joy to give princess a forever loving home!

Excellent rescue with the kindest people!! I can't imagine what they go through each day and what they see! We have adopted twice from them. The first time was perfect, the second time, our baby was a little troubled (jumped on counters, was water and food aggressive and afraid of us). They sent out one of their trainers to work with her and she became a perfect cuddling baby. Many times it's the owners who are NOT doing it right and they shared how we could be better at making things successful. With a little patience, our sweet Murphy became perfect!!! We have had her for 8 years now. Oliver passed at the age of 16 earlier this year. We also volunteer with them. They take safety very serious and make sure that everything is structured so it's a safe and fun experience. Please donate,
