I have been taking Buck, my shorthair to Jesse since he was 10 weeks old. He is now a year and 4 months. He is the best trainer I could ask for because he will do whatever type of training you need and will teach you also how to train your dog. We now have a wired hair puppy of his, Harley (the brown and white dog in the picture with our black short hair. Harley is an amazing hunter and the perfect temperament. I love my shorthair however if you need a dog that can also chill on the couch with you, his wired hairs are the ticket. The natural ability of both breeds are amazing but controlling your dogs is key in order to have a truly successful hunt. I’ll start off by saying I put all the faith in Jesse when it comes to training and even his pups. I own a pup out of his 2 best hunting dogs and she’s now about a year and a half and her ambition to work is unbelievable. Jesse is a great breeder and trainer to work with. Several of my hunting partners and I have been the very fortunate recipients of hunting experiences with the best hunting dog handler and guide, Jesse Schneeberg, and his hunting dogs (German Wirehair Pointers and Boykin Spaniel) that we’ve ever had over the past several years at the Lone Oak Preserve in Montello, WI! In addition to Jesse’s experience and knowledge, he is very personable and sharing of that knowledge and experience. Jesse is top notch. My German Muensterlander Went from not knowing what a bird was to being an excellent bird dog. Listens to commands extremely well. Jesse is exactly the type of guy I figured he would be. Straight to the point. Doesn’t sugarcoat things, and gets that dog where it needs to be with a lot of blood sweat and tears. He Spent countless hours with the dogs getting them acclimated to birds, Commands, and put a drive in the dog which in turn makes the dog want to hunt 24/7. In simple words he makes the dog love getting in the field. Truly one of the best trainers around. Five stars.
