I’m extremely frustrated. I found my dream cat at the cats brew café in Sun Prairie and applied two weeks ago. I Have called, left emails, and still have not heard back. I called the cat cafe this morning and they said that an application has been approved for her. But I have still not heard anything. I will be extremely devastated if I find out I will not be getting her. No one has reached out if my application was approved or denied. If that changes, I would love to come back on and leave a better review. But it is extremely ridiculous that you cannot get in contact with the rescue. I am able to give this cat a loving home. And instead, she’s been sitting with the rescue for two unnecessary weeks. I understand that you run from volunteers and that stuff gets busy. But do better please!!

I recently moved to Madison and made it known in my application that as a result, all of my vet files (for the cat that paid to move into this country with!!!) would be from an out of country vet. I would have been more than willing to liase with my vet and get them the required documents. To no one's surprise, my application was rejected because I guess the only good vets are those that are from this country. Although the genertic email listed a ton of irrelevant reasons, I know that it boiled down to the fact that they did not feel that a vet from another country is as able as one from this to properly care for a cat. What a beautiful orphanage. These cats are free range. They have such beautiful lives here and are available for adoption. If you want to come and get free, kitty love. The best day is Wednesday's ❤️

I didn't want to believe the negative reviews, but they have turned out to be true. It has been over two weeks since my husband and I applied to adopt. I called and left a voicemail but have received no response. None of my references were contacted. I have not received a rejection email. The cat I applied for is still listed on their site. Whether it be lack of organization, unrealistic standards, or undue cynicism from the volunteers, it is the many cats that need homes that are the ones who suffer. Rescues who want to find homes for them deserve support, not Little Orphans.

My wife and I recently applied to adopt a kitty and they denied us without explanation (as is their policy).
