Not as Stellar as advertised. After 1 months worth of training, I picked up my lab since Jack was leaving town for competition. Upon pickup, I instantly noticed boils on his paws. I asked how this was the first time I was hearing about it? I drove straight to my vet and she recommended Epsom Salt soaks to open the boils and have whatever may be inside his paws be able to come out as easily as possible without operating at that time. We have been dealing with Epsom Salt soaks, multiple visits to our vet until we had to select surgery to completely remove the boils that kept coming back. This has been a 3 month nightmare for our lab, forget about our time and money. This has cost our family thousands. On top of that, our lab behaves today exactly like he did before selecting training

Over used the shock collar. When I showed up my dog had a hot spot on his neck. She mentioned she had to really give it to him to make him listen. He’s gun shy. They don’t use real guns there because the air canon “works just as good”. Don’t waste your money with them. I liked them just fine as people, but when it comes to bird dog training, I didn’t get what I paid for. Not even close. My dog runs away and cowers at the sight of a gun and the shock collar.

I have known Jack Morris for 16 years, he has trained my four retrievers. The first dog got me hooked on the retrieving game, suffering through my amateur attempts. The last three have been and are successful hunt test competitors – all three have qualified at the Master National at least once, my “Ray” was MNH4. Jack helped me find my last three puppies. He looks for breedings where the pups should have the drive, talent, temperament and personality that work best with me – so far, so good. I send the pups to him at about 6 months of age. The basics are thoroughly instilled in the pups, each one working at their own pace. There is no rushing through any phase of training. Fantastic facility. Jack and Marta are one of the best Hunt Test trainers I know. The grounds they have unbelievable, can't get any better than what they have.
