St. Petersburg Animal Hospital and Urgent Care

After my cat Sadie had surgery for stitches at another hospital and within 3 hours her stitches opened up I took her to this vet and they are AMAZING. They cleaned her wound and put her on antibiotics and literally said she will heal better if they don’t have to repeat the surgery. The original hospital wanted to charge me another $1200 after the $1200 that I spent already. This vet was incredible and saved my cat. I now take all my animals to them including my dog Zoe who has allergies

We had a great experience with this vet earlier this week. I tried calling 6 different places, same gave me appointments 20-30 days out. This place, same day appointment. Next day my little Hazel had dental surgery. They did a great job, she's recovering well. It's not cheap but the service was excellent! I would not hesitate to use them again for our other dogs. Thank you!

Dr. Waleski & the staff here are wonderful. From the front desk to the veterinarians, everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the well-being of your pet. They take the time to explain everything clearly and never make you feel rushed. I always leave feeling confident that my pet received the best possible care. They have always treated my dogs & myself with respect. I would highly recommend them!

I asked for a 3 year rabies vaccine multiple times for my outdoor cat when I booked the appointment and they gave him the 1 year. I clearly described what services I wanted, when I called to book, and they even sent me a message confirming what I had asked for. When I got there they had no idea what I'd services I'd asked for and I had to go over everything from the beginning. They kept trying to add services I didn't want. The care towards my pet was good. It was decently clean with some urine odors. The wait time was average for a vet clinic. It took just over an hour for an morning annual vaccination appointment for a cat.

I came in to get a second opinion on the removal of some teeth for my chiweenie and Dr. Waleski was amazing. She was so sweet and gentle with my baby and then she did an amazing job with the surgery itself! I got updates and great take home notes. I highly recommend coming in to see Dr. Waleski for amazing care for your pets!
