St. Louis Muttropolitan

I have been bringing my Akitas here for a long time and I would not take my dogs anywhere else. They are kind and loving to me and my dogs. They do and awesome job grooming and my dog always smell fresh and clean. Thank you Mutterpolitan.

Mary, this falls on you. There are heartbreaking accounts about a small senior dog who went into Muttropolitan alive and never came home. The family was reportedly told he “died overnight in a crate.” But when their veterinarian examined him, bite marks and injuries were found across his body… injuries that do not line up with a peaceful passing. Your reported response? You don’t know what happened. And there are no cameras in the facility. No cameras. No clear explanation. No accountability. That is unacceptable. When pet owners leave their dogs with you, they are trusting you with a member of their family. “I don’t know” is not an answer. Muttropolitan did the lion's cut on two eighteen months old male cats. They survived. For 2 hours later, they fought hissed and swung at each other. They got over it and made great videos I shared with friends. I got a good look at their skin. They are both neutered, but only one has the green dot. So I have to take them back to Carol house. Muttropolitan took four hours like they told me. They were truthful in the cost as well. The pickup was easy. The staff was very professional and pleasant.

I saw a devastating post about a dog passing in your care due to severe injuries (bite marks) and that there was no real care shown from the employees here. The post even said the vet was disturbed at what had happened. I wanted to post about it to ensure another doggo doesn’t end up in the same situation. If you can’t handle dogs safely, don’t offer to watch them.

My dog 12 year old (8 pound Maltese Shitzu mix) was at Muttropolitan being boarded this weekend (2.21.26). They put him in an overnight crate where they said he later died. I was not in town and asked them to take him to my vet because it was odd since he was not sick when he was dropped off. The vet found biting, injuries, and other wounds all over his body. I am at a loss of what happened because the owner has no clue on what happened AND there are no cameras. Shame on you Muttropolitan.
