First, thank you to everyone at the center for taking care of Tofu. She is doing well and bounced back very quickly. We are hopeful that being spayed will help her be less anxious. Tofu was a very young stray, perhaps 6 weeks old when we met her behind a Dollar General. Her mother was very feral and there were no other kittens. A Good Samaritan was feeding them; he encouraged us to bring her home as she was obviously not well. After attempting to have her spayed at two vets in the South Myrtle Beach area, we gave up. She was scared of every thing and was very content to stay inside. Just getting her well was a major expense and the additional $600 expected for more lab work and spay just seemed excessive. I am so glad someone told us about this center as the ask of $75 to $135 seemed fai
Took my cat in to be neutered. They were awesome. They made sure to educate you on the things you needed to do for your furbaby, after surgery. Everyone was so kind and attentive.
My husband and I adopted Phineas ( new name Max) we couldn’t ask fora better fix for our Bear. They are great boys, and we love them dearly. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much for your loving care for our baby. Our experience was so pleasant and easy to make our adoption experience wonderful. Thank you St. Francis for everything ❤️
Absolutely love Saint Frances and what they do for the animals that come into their care. I have previously volunteered at their local adoption days and have adopted from them as well. The employees I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with have always been incredibly kind and just looking out for the animals’ best interest.
Apparently the people I saw and the one I encountered in the lobby were not caring volunteers but paid employees. Nothing else could explain what I saw and experienced today. I drove 40 minutes with a stray cat I've been feeding. He escaped his carrier and was loose in my car. Nearly had an accident trying to get him there. They were closed until 1:30pm for lunch so I waited 30 minutes and I observed humans slothing back and forth in the yard doing nothing with caged dogs wagging tails in anticipation of being let out into the yard but no! The dogs would wag then lie down defeated. What they were doing besides collecting a paycheck who knows? I made the mistake of following someone in @1:20pm (10 mins before their lunch break ended) and heard ,"someone didn't lock the door" , as I stood
