Spring Valley Veterinary Hospital - WEST

I have taken my 2 cats and dog to them, and my pets and I were treated with nothing but respect and kindness. They have the best customer service I've ever experienced at any business. I know that my babies are in good hands when I take them here. They are very informative by having the veterinarian herself come out and explaining everything. They found out that one of my kitties has kidney and thyroid disease. It was devastating because I had no idea that any of that was going on. I'm glad that they caught it in time for me to be able to take precautionary measures with medication, and just to help in the best way that I can. I highly recommend this vet.

They're taking great care of my elderly kitty, Myrtle! The techs are great about telling you what's going on and what the plan is for your pet, and they don't do anything without getting it okayed first. All the staff are very friendly and gentle with the animals, and the place is very clean.

Apparently, our cat licked the flea treatment off of our large breed dog. We were headed out the door to take our twins to St. Louis for medical reasons when we found Spike seizing. I rushed him to the closest vet, which happened to be Spring Valley. The vet rushed him back within seconds and the techs were equally dedicated to moving as fast as possible. Our cat, who is an ESA for our son who is on the spectrum, is a very important part of our family. My son would have been devastated if Spike didn't make it. The level of care that he received at spring Valley was beyond any vet experience we've ever had. He had to stay overnight, but we were given several updates along the way. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Spring Valley. The building is always clean and well maintained, which immediately puts us at ease when bringing in our pets. The reception staff are alap incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. We appreciate Dr. Blades. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure both pets and owners feel comfortable. It’s obvious he loves what he does, and that makes all the difference!

My two dogs had grooming appointments for the first time last week. They looked great! I can definitely say it’s the best haircut they have ever had in the Springfield area. The staff was very nice and listened when discussing the type of haircut for each dog. We will be going back again and again.
