UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. We scheduled a consultation for stem cell therapy for our dog. Before the appointment, I specifically called to confirm that it was a free consultation because we only wanted information about the procedure and pricing at this stage. I was clearly told it was free. When we arrived, we were placed in a small, closed, hot room and waited almost 30 minutes. Not ideal, especially with our dog. As we were leaving, we were suddenly told we owed $160. I was shocked. I explained that I had called beforehand and was told it would be a free consultation. The front desk employee responded that “there is always a charge.” I asked them to listen to the recorded call because I had specifically confirmed this before coming in. The doctors and good and friendly But this vet clinic tries way to hard to show how bougie they are. The phone system wait time is too long. Instead of texting or calling you for appointment reminders you have to log in to read a message. they are also super disorganized. One time i had to go back for a half empty medication box. then another time i had to the rabies tag not given to me and they misspelled Stamford on the physical dog tag. It is also way too expensive and they push too much for dental cleanings. wait times are also long. i went for an appointment at 11:00 on time and did not leave until an hour later and was not seen until 35 minutes after showing up on time. On the bright side the vet doctors themselves are super caring and friendly. and the waiting room is super clean.

Avoid this clinic for international travel paperwork. Overpriced, sloppy, and unreliable. I came here for an international travel certificate for my dog and I’m still shocked at how this was handled. They charged $895 for the travel certificate, plus $94 for a so-called “comprehensive evaluation,” plus $101 for USDA rabies vaccine certification, plus $101 USDA fee, and an additional ~$30 disposal fee. The disposal fee made no sense because my dog did not receive any shots or treatments that would require “medical waste” disposal. When I questioned it, they casually said they’d remove it — which tells me it should never have been on the bill in the first place. We’ve been training our puppy with Janet, and it has been such a great experience. We’ve done private, one-on-one lessons, and the individualized attention has made a huge difference. Janet does an amazing job helping us take what we learn during sessions and successfully apply it at home. We’ve seen real progress and feel much more confident as new dog parents.
