Sporting Life Kennels

Marty and the team at Sporting Life are great to deal with. My dog River is the best dog I have ever owned. In the field or at home he is calm but ready. I spoke with other well know British lab breeders and SLK was my first choice by far.

My dog, Raylan, just graduated from their basic obedience program. He is in training for search & rescue and I needed him to have solid basic obedience off & on leash and a consistent recall. My work schedule wasn’t allowing me the time I needed to do it correctly myself. I contacted and researched several other places but they didn’t seem to be the right fit or even that interested in helping. After talking with Marty and discussing what I needed I felt I had found the right place. Sporting Life Kennels didn’t disappoint. The undisciplined puppy I dropped off in December was a completely different dog on graduation day. This is by far the best place to get a dog from, I have purchased a puppy from them in 2019 and this dog is a superstar. My dog Banjo is 11 months old and already has 62 dove and 34 ducks under his belt and we are at the third day of the season. I was so impressed with Retriever university and the genetics of the dog I went ahead and put a deposit down for another one. Molly and Robert are the bomb!!!
