Southwick Veterinary Hospital

We came to know Southwick Animal Hospital through VEG emergency clinic in Saint Peters. We took our Mable girl in on a Sunday night where we met Dr. Courtney and I cannot be more thankful for this woman. Mable was presenting with GI upset, loss of appetite, lurching, and dehydration we took her to a vet on Friday and they brushed it off and sent us home with anti-nausea medication. Sunday she was seen at VEG were they ran test and we kind of agreed it may have been a nutrition/absorption Issue. Dr. Courtney offered to take her on as a patient at her primary clinic here at Southwick Animal Hospital. The following Monday I took her in we ran tests, did X-rays and decided to schedule a scope for Tuesday Morning. Dr. Courntey was so great, she listened to us and understood our financial issue

The first attraction to this clinic was the available hours. There’s a lot of great comfort level and knowing that you have expanded opportunities to visit. When I called, I first listened to a short message, which gave instructions on how to accelerate the situation if there was an emergency. That was very impressive. When we visited, every staff member as absolutely amazing From the way we received all the way up to technical screening and ultimately doctors care.

Really thorough and kind staff. I called a few times while my doodle was under for teeth cleaning because I was so nervous, and they were very patient and gentle with me. Upfront about estimates, what to expect, and directions for pre and post op. Taylor has been especially kind and I appreciate her calling all the animals people’s children/babies because they are.

We take our baby Zeppo to Dr. Kondu and she treats him with love and care. He gets his shots here and also his all in one flea, tick and heartworm pill which is so convenient and good for him. She told us about Science Diet food so he could be healthier and we are very happy with the service we get here, always prompt ans everyone is so friendly.

We recently switched vets as this one came highly recommended from a friend. We have three dogs (Herbert, Kora and Sally) and now have them all in care here. The staff is very accommodating and helps us get all three scheduled together. We really like the vets we have seen. They care for them well and have advised us good so far. I also like how they run on time. We will definitely keep going here and recommend it to our friends. It’s also very easy to get to and extremely clean. So far, our crew has had basic vaccinations, annual check ups and an x ray. All went well! -Andrew
